A thank-you note, an article they might like, a quick update on your progress—relationships grow through consistency, not one-offs. 5. Give before you ask. Impact & Connection (Quarterly) ✔ How am I helping others while pursuing my goals? ✔ Who are the key people supporting me? ✔ Which relationships need more attention? 5. Vision Alignment (Every 6 Months) ✔ Does my current path still excite me? ✔ Have my priorities changed? ✔ Do I need to adjust my timeline? I keep these questions in my phone’s notes app. Every week, I revisit them. Every month, I review patterns. Every quarter, I reset my focus. But what you cannot afford to ignore is AI literacy - the ability to use AI in your day-to-day profession. For example: → A nurse can use AI journaling tools to reflect on feedback and extract growth insights. → A teacher can use AI to create differentiated lesson plans in minutes. → A manager can use AI to check the balance of recognition and constructive feedback before delivering it. In every field, professionals who learn to bring AI into their current roles will rise. Those who refuse? They risk being left behind, no matter how talented. From Offline to Online: Adopting the Digital Shift with LinkedIn & topmate.io As an AI productivity coach and tech workshop facilitator, I want to share my learning lessons and the wisdom I gained through my academia/PhD journey, adopting AI and digital tools, and insights gained when I delivered Keynotes/Workshops/Talks. For over a decade, I worked as an offline trainer and speaker. However, when I moved to a new city, my local presence was no longer effective, and my current location made it challenging to accept new speaking gigs or training sessions from my old local locations. That's when I discovered the combination of LinkedIn & Topmate. Linkedin, acted as my landing page, and Topmate, helped me efficiently organise my online sessions. Topmate provided the flexibility to host both free and paid sessions, making it a cost-effective solution. One of my biggest achievements with Topmate has been helping professionals, educators, and students become AI-skilled individuals and skill up in tech. Through my sessions, they gain applied knowledge and tech skills. Additionally, I've been guiding students on how to effectively use LinkedIn for finding jobs, career growth, and professional networking. Many students were stuck on Instagram and weren't using LinkedIn's potential. By conducting free sessions, I empowered them to use this professional platform effectively. Helping professionals upskill and guiding students has given me a strong sense of purpose and joy. It's a way to give back to the community, sharing tools and knowledge for success. The automatic scheduling of booking logistics has made my work smoother and filled me with gratitude. My advice to professionals, educators, and students looking to future-proof their careers: 1. Embrace digital platforms to expand your reach and access valuable resources. 2. Invest in becoming AI-skilled and acquiring tech skills to stay competitive. 3.
